ELIGIBILITY & METHOD OF ADMISSION in PES University:

BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY (B.TECH):

       Eligibility Criteria

“50% aggregate marks in Physics plus Math plus Chemistry/Computer Science/ Electronics/ Biotechnology of 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board”. Test Scores in PESSAT and/or KCET (State level exam) or JEE Mains required.

Method to Admission

Register for and take PESSAT/ KCET/ both OR register for admission through JEE Mains score from the link https://www.pessat.com/. You can also Participate through counselling to compete for a merit seat based on exams PESSAT/ KCET/ JEE Mains score/ rank.

If a candidate wants to compete through both the PESSAT quota and JEE Mains quota, he or she must register separately for programs of B.Tech and B.Tech (JEE) from https://www.pessat.com/. Provisional acquiring the seats through higher fee/management/NRI/PIO/OCI/ or Sponsored quota is also possible here. You can approach the Office of Admissions at PES University located at Ring Road Campus for more information on this.

BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (GENERAL/ HONORS/ HOSPITALITY & EVENT MANAGEMENT/ SPORTS MANAGEMENT/ BUSINESS ANALYTICS):

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 50% aggregate percentage or score in 10+2 or equivalent exam in any stream from a recognized board.

Method to Admission

PESSAT will take interviews which is mandatory & the interview should be attended by students on campus on the same day. Results will be shared with the candidate within 3 days from the day of the exam or test is taken. If you got selected, you can proceed with admissions.

BACHELOR OF DESIGN (B.DES):

Eligibility Criteria

50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board with English as a mandatory course OR At least 50% aggregate in 3-year diploma with English as a mandatory course. Test score in PESSAT or UCEED. For additional info, refer to www.pes.edu/pessat

Method to Admission

Register and take PESSATExam. The interview should be attended on the same day of the test on campus (candidates to get their creative portfolio works for added benefit). The result will be shared with the candidate within 3 working days after the test or exam is taken.

If you got selected, you can proceed with the admission process. If the candidate has taken UCEED, then he/she must register for PESSAT (mandatory) but no need to take the test in this condition. The candidate is eligible to directly attend the interview carrying a creative portfolio along with a PESSAT hall ticket.

BACHELOR OF LAW (BBA,LLB/ BA,LLB – HONORS PROGRAM):

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board. Shall have secured minimum marks of 45% of total marks in the respective qualifying examination, in the case of general category applicants and 40% of total marks in the case of SC and ST reserved applicants.

You Shall have secured minimum marks of 45% of total marks in the respective qualifying examination, in the case of general category applicants and 40% (39.5% and above shall be treated as 40%) of total marks in the case of SC and ST applicants. CLAT or PESSAT or LSAT-India score is mandatory. For additional info, refer to www.pes.edu/pessat

Method to Admission

You can Register and take the PESSAT exam. The interview should be attended on the same day of the test on the campus itself. Results will be shared with the candidate within 3 working days after the test/exam. If you got selected, you can then proceed with the admission procedure. If the candidate has a valid CLAT/ LSAT-India score, then he/she must register for PESSAT which is mandatory but there is no need to take the test in that case. Candidates can directly attend the interview carrying the PESSAT hall ticket with them.

BACHELOR OF ARCHITECTURE (B.ARCH) at PES University

Eligibility Criteria

No candidate will be admitted to an architecture course unless they have passed an exam at the end of the 10+2 exam schedule with at least 50 per cent. Aggregate grades in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also at least 50 per cent.

Grades in total on the 10+2 level exam or passed the 10+3 Diploma Exam with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 50 per cent. Brands in total.

Applicants may note that no direct lateral admissions are permitted in any year/semester/internship of the B.Arch. course based on any qualification.

Method to Admission

Candidates must apply for the PESSAT, but the test will not be conducted by the PES University. Instead, after registering for PESSAT, the candidate must upload their NATA score as soon as they obtain it along with their 12th/2nd PU scores. PES University will announce ratings based on the ratings and scores submitted and conduct counselling based on those ratings.

Applicants appearing through KCET must attend KCET cell counselling and obtain an admission application to our University for admission. It is also possible to temporarily block vacancies through higher fee/management/NRI/PIO/OCI/sponsored quota. BACHELOR OF COMMERCE (HONS) WITH ACCA – B.COM (HONS) WITH ACCA at PES

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 10+2 or equivalent exam in any stream from a recognized board. For additional info, please refer www.pes.edu/pessat website

Method to Admission

The PESSAT must be taken (mandatory) on the PES University Ring Road campus and an interview must be done on campus on the same day. Results will be shared with the candidate within 3 days of the test day. If selected, can proceed with admissions.

  • BACHELOR OF COMMERCE (B.COM)

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board. For additional info, refer to www.pes.edu/pessat

Method to Admission

PESSAT should be taken (mandatory) at PES University located at Ring Road campus. The result will be shared with the candidate within 3 days from the day of the test/exam taken. If selected, you can proceed with the admission process.

BACHELOR OF PHARMACY (BPHARM) at PES

Eligibility Criteria

10+2 (PCM/B) from a recognized board.

Method to Admission

PESSAT should be taken (mandatory) at PES University located at Hanumanth Nagar Campus. The result will be shared with the candidate within 3 days from the day of the test. If selected, can proceed with admissions.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (B.SC) IN PSYCHOLOGY

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate opting for this course should have high proficiency in English and have passed 10+2 / P.U.C./12th or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate.

Method to Admission

PESSAT should be taken (mandatorily) and an interview should be attended on campus on the same day. The result will be shared with the candidate within 2-3 days from the day of the test. If selected, can proceed with the admission process.

BACHELOR OF ARTS (B.A) IN JOURNALISM AND MASS COMMUNICATION

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 50% aggregate score in 10+2 or equivalent exam in any stream from a recognized board. For additional info, refer to www.pes.edu/pessat

Method to Admission

PESSAT should be taken (mandatory) and an interview should be attended on campus on the same day. The result will be shared with the candidate within 3 days from the day of the test taken. If selected, can proceed with admission.

BACHELOR OF ARTS (B.A) IN PERFORMING ARTS

Eligibility Criteria

50% aggregate score in 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board. For additional info, refer to www.pes.edu/pessat

Method to Admission

PESSAT should be taken (mandatory) and an interview should be attended on campus on the same day. The result will be shared with the candidate within 3 days from the day of the test. If selected, can proceed with admissions.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (B.SC) IN NURSING

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant should have passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English papers individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks together in PCB papers at the II PUC or 12th Standard i.e. (10+2). The candidate belonging to SC/ST or other backward classes shall obtain 40% marks in PCB papers together in the qualifying examination.

Method to Admission

PESSAT should be taken (mandatory) and an interview should be attended on campus on the same day. The result will be shared with the candidate within 3 days from the day of the test. If selected, can proceed with admissions.

MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATION (MCA) at PES

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent Degree. (OR) Passed B.Sc/ B.Com/ B.A with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level (with additional bridge courses as per the norms of concerned University). Obtained at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

Method of Admission

PESSAT should be taken. The result will be shared with the candidate within 3 days from the day of the test. If selected, can proceed with admissions. If appearing through PGCET, the candidate should get the admission order from the PGCET cell after counselling for the admission to be complete.

MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA) in PES University

Eligibility Criteria

At least 50% in Bachelor’s degree from any recognized University. Test Scores in PESSAT, PGCET, MAT, CMAT, CAT, GMAT, GRE accepted. For additional info, refer to www.pes.edu/pessat

Method of Admission

Candidates may be admitted through PESSAT/MAT (if above 500 composite score)/ CAT (if above 50th percentile)/ CMAT (if above 50th percentile)/ GMAT/ GRE. Applicants in any of the above cases must attend GDPI at the PES University Ring Road Campus and only.

if they pass GDPI along with valid admission test scores will they be able to proceed with admissions. Applicants who have applied to PESSAT or the PES University selected in the entry option during MAT registration will automatically receive a PES call for GDPI sessions. Others should contact the University for GDPI dates.

Applicants who appear through the PGCET must obtain the order of admission in the PGCET cell after attending counselling.

EXECUTIVE MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (E-MBA)

Eligibility Criteria

Any Graduate from a recognized University with a minimum of 2 years of works experience.

Method of Admission

Register for PESSAT from www.pessat.com and take an online personal interview for admission.
