Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information EngineeringHulk (https://engineeringhulk.com, “we”) collects when you use the site, why, and the choices you have. EngineeringHulk has no user accounts, no comments and no newsletter, so we collect very little.

What we collect

When you read the site

Like every website, our hosting server (Hostinger) receives your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. These server logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, and are deleted automatically by the host.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful. It uses cookies to collect information such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate location (city or country), device and browser, and how you arrived (for example from a search engine). We use this only in aggregate to improve our guides. You can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

The site is free because it shows ads served by Google AdSense.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
• Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google’s consent message before personalised ads are shown, and can change that choice later through the same consent message.

When you contact us

If you use our contact form, the name, email address and message you type are sent to us by email through the form service FormSubmit (formsubmit.co). If you email info@engineeringhulk.com directly, we receive what you send. We use these details only to reply to you and to fix any error you report, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Site search, calculators and tools

Our search box, calculators and converters run entirely in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to us.

Cookies

We do not set any cookies of our own. The cookies on this site come from Google Analytics and Google AdSense, as described above and in our Cookie Policy. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Embedded content and links

Some pages embed content from other websites (for example videos or equation rendering libraries) or link to official sources such as exam authorities and universities. Those websites may collect data about you under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. Information is shared only with the service providers named above (Hostinger for hosting, Google for analytics and advertising, FormSubmit for the contact form), each for the purpose described.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept in our mailbox only as long as needed to answer and follow up. Google Analytics data is kept only for the data-retention period set in our Analytics account. Server logs are rotated automatically by our host.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, or to delete it, by emailing info@engineeringhulk.com. We will reply within 30 days. You can also use the opt-out links above at any time.

Children

Our guides are written for students, including school students preparing for JEE. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is described above, and the contact form is not required to use any part of the site.

Security

The whole site is served over HTTPS. We do not store passwords or payment details because the site has no accounts and takes no payments.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
