Education is the key to unlocking opportunities and creating a better future. However, financial constraints often hinder the dreams of many deserving students. In recognition of this challenge, the Reliance Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Reliance Industries Limited, offers scholarships to support the educational aspirations of talented individuals across India. 

Eligibility Criteria

Reliance Foundation invites first-year postgraduate students who are enrolled full-time in an eligible degree program (in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics & Computing, Electrical and/or Electronics Engg., Chemical Engg., Mechanical Engg., Renewable & New Energy, Material Science & Engg. and Life Sciences) to apply.

Reliance Foundation Scholarships Eligibility Criteria

The Reliance Foundation Scholarship is a prestigious opportunity provided by the philanthropic arm of Reliance Industries Limited. To be considered for this scholarship, candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria. These conditions, as specified by the foundation, are as follows:

1. Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of India.

2. Academic Level: Candidates must be in their first year of a regular undergraduate or postgraduate degree program.

3. Eligible Fields of Study: The scholarship is available to students pursuing higher studies in specific subjects, including Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics and Computing, and Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

4. Undergraduate Students: For undergraduate applicants, they should have obtained a rank between 1 and 35,000 in the JEE Mains paper.

5. Postgraduate Students: Postgraduate candidates must have scored between 550 and 1000 in the GATE exam or have a CGPA of more than 7.5 at the undergraduate level.

Documents Required

When applying for the Reliance Foundation Scholarship, candidates need to upload various documents to support their application. The necessary documents include:

1. Passport-sized photograph: A recent photograph of the candidate in the specified size, dimension, and format.

2. Signature: A digitally scanned copy of the candidate’s signature.

3. Address Proof: A document that serves as proof of the candidate’s address.

4. 10th Class Mark Sheet: The mark sheet of the candidate’s 10th-grade examination.

5. 12th Class Result Sheet: The result sheet of the candidate’s 12th-grade examination.

6. Disability Certificate (if applicable): In case the candidate has a disability, a certificate issued by the Government of India is accepted as proof.

7. Experience Letter or Certificate (if applicable): If the candidate has any previous work experience or internships, an experience letter or certificate should be provided.

8. Income Certificate: An income certificate of the candidate’s family, demonstrating that the combined income of the household does not exceed Rs. 10 lakhs.

9. JEE Main or GATE Exam Mark Sheet: For undergraduate students, the mark sheet of the JEE Main entrance exam should be submitted. Postgraduate students need to provide the mark sheet of the GATE exam.

10. Undergraduate Degree Result (postgraduate students only): Postgraduate candidates should submit the result of their undergraduate degree program.

11. Bonafide Student Certificate or Identity Proof: A certificate or any other form of identity proof confirming that the candidate is officially enrolled in an academic course.

12. Academic Reference Letter: A reference letter from an academic source, such as a teacher or professor, supporting the candidate’s application.

13. Character Certificate or Reference Letter: A certificate or letter attesting to the candidate’s character or providing references.

14. Resume: A detailed resume highlighting the candidate’s current achievements.

By ensuring that all the required documents are uploaded accurately and without plagiarism, candidates can enhance their chances of being considered for the Reliance Foundation Scholarship.

a. Merit-based: The scholarship is primarily awarded to students with outstanding academic records. Applicants must have a strong academic background, demonstrated through their grades or examination scores.

b. Financial need: Candidates from families with limited financial resources are given preference. The foundation assesses the financial status of the applicants through a comprehensive evaluation process.

c. Indian citizenship: The scholarship is available to Indian citizens residing in India.
