We’re looking for builders who enjoy creating things from scratch, breaking them, figuring out why they broke, and making them better. As a DevOps Engineer at FamApp, you’ll work at the intersection of infrastructure, reliability, and DevEx.

You’ll help build the systems that keep our services running reliably at scale from CI/CD and Kubernetes to Infrastructure as Code, observability, security, and internal developer platforms.

If troubleshooting is in your blood, you’re curious about how things work under the hood, and you get a rush from fixing problems that don’t have an obvious answer, you’ll fit right in. Apply right away!

On the Job

  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for backend and frontend services, and contribute to golden templates that provide standardized, reusable delivery workflows across the organization.
  • Analyse application resource usage and configure resource requests, limits, and autoscaling policies to ensure workloads remain reliable and efficient under load.
  • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including networking, compute, IAM, database and Kubernetes resources.
  • Contribute to reliability engineering by identifying failure scenarios, improving system uptime and alerting, and maintaining runbooks.
  • Participate in our on-call rotation triage & address reliability issues that come up in production
  • Contribute to building internal self-service platforms that enable engineers to provision and manage infrastructure resources that power FAM.
  • Experiment with and evaluate new infrastructure and developer tooling to improve the reliability and developer experience of the platform.
  • Document infrastructure, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps to improve team knowledge and reduce operational overhead.
  • Requirements

  • Atleast 3–6 months of hands-on experience with AWS or any public cloud platform.
  • Hands-on experience with atleast one of these programming languages python, go, javascript
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience building or configuring CI/CD pipelines.
  • Basic hands-on experience with Kubernetes; exposure to Amazon EKS is a strong plus.
  • Basic understanding of fundamental cloud concepts such as IAM, networking, compute, storage, and monitoring.
  • Basic understanding of application scaling, security, and compliance practices in a public cloud environment.
  • Comfortable working with Linux, Git, and command-line tools.
  • Strong willingness to learn, troubleshoot problems, and work collaboratively with engineers.
